• Vendor Coordination: Coordinating with various vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, DJs or bands, and transportation services to ensure they are aware of the schedule and requirements for the day.
• Timeline Management: Managing the timeline for the rehearsal and/or wedding day, ensuring that events like the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception activities occur on schedule and all parties understand their duties and the timeline.
• Handling Emergencies: Being prepared to handle any unexpected issues or emergencies that may arise during the day, such as inclement weather, vendor no-shows, or medical emergencies.
• Directing Guests: Providing guidance and assistance to guests, such as directing them to parking areas, restrooms, and seating locations.
• Coordinating Ceremony: Ensuring that the ceremony runs smoothly, including cueing the music, and assisting the officiant and wedding party as needed.
